Well, my back is finally feeling better. Probably back to about 98%. Time to get back to the gym. Had my last chiropractic apt. for awhile, I hope. I'm actually kind of sad though because it feel so good and is relaxing after a long day, but it gets kind of expensive after a few times.
I had a pretty good weekend, got some stuff done and had a little fun. Chris had drill in Salina all weekend.
This weekend Linda and Bert are coming down. I told her to bring their new WII game down (Chris' cousin has a WII)....MARIO KART! I LOVE that game! I can't wait to play it again. I used to be really good but it's been a long time so it might take me awhile to get the hang of it again. They have two steering wheels and controllers so I am so excited to kick some butt!
Ok, the bad news. Chris and I have known about the possibility for awhile, but he found out more information last weekend: He will be deployed again NEXT winter, probably to Afghanistan. I don't want to put too many details on here so if you want more info email or call me. It's still a year away so I'm just trying to not think about it right now. Who knows what could happen by next year. Anyway, I am really mad about the timing of this deployment...but when is it ever a good time. I don't think we are going to change any plans we have, but it definately could make things more difficult. So basically, we'll just see what happens and leave it up to God.

I have fond memories of playing Mario Kart in your basement in El Dorado after a long day of swimming. Oh,those were the days! I am pretty sure you ALWAYS kicked my butt too, haha
Again Sherry, I am so sorry to hear about Chris being deployed again. I know it was hard the first time and this time will be just as difficult. Just do what is right for you two and your lives together and know that I am here for you always, even if I am a ga-zillion miles away. :) Love you!
HAHA I used to tell my mom that I had to help the neighbor with his homework and we would play mario kart for hours! I don't know anybody that doesn't like mario kart...maybe obama!LOL
Sorry to hear that Chris will have to go back. He told me the other day and I told Matt. It would almost be easier to have him go now and be back in a year than to be tormented for and additional year waiting. You never know, in a few weeks someone new will be in office and things may be different. I don't think that it will help to pull troops out but I don't want friends over there either. Its easy to be patriotic if you don't have a connection to what keeps us free.
That sucks about Chris. Girl I don't know how you do it.You are a strong woman.
All hail the Mario Kart queen. I recommend Coconut Island--it is soooooooo fun. Remember Rainbow Road?
That sucks about the deployment. Is it a for sure thing? I am curious to see what will happen over there when the Presidency changes. It seems to be a very unpopular war with people, so maybe we will see some pull back of troops. Just think of what happened in Vietnam...people thought it would never end.
I know why it would be an especially bad time. Like you said, no time is a good time. We are just lucky we have people who are willing to do what Chris does. I sure as heck couldn't do it. I couldn't be on your end either. You have always been the most loyal person I know. Chris can always take solace in knowing that.
