A little ADD

Well, with the help of an awesome friend and pro we got the new drywall up and are one the 3rd coat of the joint compound. Hopefully tonight or tomorrow morning we can get the texturing done and we are almost done! This is such a long process. We are pretty sure that water was getting in from the window leaking. So we also caulked around the window on the oustide to hopefully stop and future leaks and will probably do the rest just to be safe. I am glad we noticed it and got it fixed because it could have caused a big mold problem if left how it was. I also decided to take this opportunity to get new curtain rods for the living room. Hehe.

Last Friday Chris was off work and he must have been bored because he decorated our front porch for Halloween. It was actually pretty good though! He had tombstones and a skeleton, cobb webbs with huge, gross spiders, rats, black roses and fake blood handprints. We are ready for some trick-or-treaters!

Friday night I found out one of my best friends is having a girl!! Yay. I am so excited for the next few months so I can meet her.

Speaking of the new few months, its going to get crazy with the holidays coming up. I am so not ready to buy gifts this year. I have no idea what to get people. That is always the hardest part. I feel like I am already behind even though its not even November yet, but I know it will fly by so I need to get going. Then there is the dreaded Christmas cards, which wouldn't be so dreaded if I could get our printer to work properly. I am still have issues with it and I just really don't want to call HP support and spend 3 hours on the phone with a impatient IT person so I have been putting it off.

Next weekend is Chris' birthday. His dad is coming down for a day, but I am not sure what else we will do. I'm sure we'll find something!
