Chris got 2nd in his golf tournament Saturday. He got to split $34 and got his first golf trophy! Carrie and I went to Walmart to get a few things to get ready that night and then we went to lunch. After lunch we went to the first half of the PSU game. It was really hot. I'm glad we had to leave early to start getting ready. I couldn't have made through the whole game. The ball was pretty fun. We have a few pictures I will try to get on here soon.
Anyway, I think wearing heals for 6 hours that night were really not good on my already sore back. I was in major pain Sunday and Monday and still hurting today. I have been doing everything I can think of and nothing really works. I have a dr. apt. tomorrow morning. I checked into chiropractic care with my insurance but they don't cover it. Don't get me started on that. I might go to one anyway if the dr. can't help. It starts to feel a tiny bit better by the end of the day but the next morning it's all tight again.:( I have never had this much pain for this long.
Also, last night we found a dog. Actually, it was laying on our porch. No collar or anything. It was really nice and didn't look like it hadn't been taken care of so we took it in for the night. I gave it some food (which he didn't eat), some water, a bed and a bone all set up in our utility room. He laid right down on the little bed. He seems nervous but he is friendly. I don't think Marley is too happy though. I have called 4 vets, the humane society, the animal shelter and the paper to give them the information in case someone is looking for him. I also made some flyers I am going to hang around the neighborhood tonight. I really hope someone calls soon because I don't think we could have 2 dogs. Marley doesn't share very well. I feel so bad for the little guy. He is so cute. Looks like a beagle, but he isn't loud so he may be a mix. He didn't make hardly a sound all night and no messes. So he has to be somebody's. I think he is young, maybe 6 months or so. Why do I always find the lost animals?

I really hope you get your back fixed. I hate pain that you can't fix. You guys are sweet for taking the dog in. I hope you find his owner. ;(
That sucks about insurance. I can't believe military benefits don't cover that. Weird.
Anyway, I would really check out the gal I told you about, Dr. Smith. She is great and it might not cost as much as you realize. You can always call their office. Kim is the receptionist and she is super nice! 232-3600(I still have it in my phone, haha)
Sounds like a cute puppy! I think you should keep it if no one calls. Marley will get used to it just like Lucky got used to Marley and the cats got used to Marley. It just takes time and I bet he would like someone to hang out with during the day! :)
I have tried introducing the two. The beagle doesn't seem to like Marley. His hair stands up and he has growled a couple times. I think Marley scares him. Marley seems interested in him. I really don't want another dog right now either...as cute as it is.
With any luck maybe you will find the owners. Then again he could have been dumped if they didn't want him. I bet he is cute, but unfortunately I do not need another pet either.
