Fall is coming. I love fall.
Saturday, rained ALL day. I didn't even leave the house, but I got alot of stuff around the house done and got to watch HGTV all day. That doesn't happen very often. I also made some banana oatmeal muffins.
Sunday, I climbed up into the attic all by myself and found my 2 tubs of decorations and got them out (some are halloween and won't go up for a few more weeks). Then, I spent a couple hours putting things out and rearranging the normal stuff to make room for the fall stuff. Some of my candles had melted a little...guess those won't be going back to the attic after this year. I tried to hide some of the melted spots by hot glueing some ribbon and a fake flower to them. It worked a little, at least enough for this season. I got new fall scents for my air fresheners and for my liquid potpourri thing. It smells sooooo good.
I think I got too much sleep this weekend because I could not get to sleep last night and then kept waking up. Maybe it was the full moon I saw this morning too. It was huge. Well, guess it's back to work. Blah.

I love this time of year. That is funny about your candles.
Nice cover with the melted candles... that's SO Sherry-ish. Love ya
I think it is the full moon! I had trouble sleeping all weekend and knew there was a full moon out. Happens all the time.
I always have something to look forward to during every season, but fall is enjoyable all the time. While I LOVE Halloween and Thanksgiving, all of the days in between are great, too. That makes fall unique. I love putting out fall decor, using the chimney for the first time, wearing snuggly clothes, and watching football. Do you remember when we used to make our own crafts out of the highlights magazine? It was fun, huh? Well, now I do that kind of stuff with the kids at school. Remember when we painted rocks to look like pumpkins and ghosts...those were PERFECT!!
Yeah, I remember those, we had them for years. Who knows they may still be there somewhere in the front yard! Those crafts were pretty fun.
