Well, Chris made it home Friday. He was glad to get a real shower and sleep in his bed. Saturday he had to go back to the armory to unload and get everything ready to go for the next trip whenever that is. I spent the day with my friend Alex looking for a sofa. We even went to Joplin to look over there. It was a fun day. I found a kid pool at big lots that was $10 cheaper than the exact same one at Walmart, so I bought it. I took a long nap after shopping and then we went out for awhile Saturday night. It was alot of fun to get out and see people!
Sunday was pretty uneventful. I got the pool put up but didn't get in yet, because the water was too cold. Today is rainy so probably won't get to try it out after work either. We talked to our dads, did the walmart run, Chris got a new weedeater at Home Depot with the help of a gift card we had, then we relaxed a little and watched the second National Treasure movie. It was a good weekend! We were busy, but most of it was fun and for once it didn't fly by. But now it's back to work, for me anyway. Chris has one more day.
