Well, this month is going by fast. I got my recliner finally! I love it, it's so comfortable and it will be great to have when Jackson gets here.
The reunion was pretty fun. I don't think many people changed that much though, but it was interesting.
I had my massage and it was very relaxing.
Chris got to come home for 1 night last week so it was good to see him. He will be home this Thursday from Salina. He has been very busy and tired.
I had my last baby shower last weekend and it was great. The cake was awesome, it matched the bedding we bought perfectly. Lots of great gifts like diapers, wipes, clothes, blankets, etc. It was a good time. Chris' sister came down to spend the weekend with me too. We had fun going out to eat a couple times and hanging out.
My last Dr. apt. she said that I have been measuring big so they are doing another sono this week to see if he is just a big baby or if I have alot of fluid. Chris was 8.5lbs so he could very well be big. If its alot of fluid, I read that could be a sign of some problems with him being able to swallow, so lets hope its not that. Most of the other causes don't really apply to me. We will find out Thursday what's going on in there and see what it means. I am hoping maybe he will be a week or so early. I am very anxious to get to the Dr. this week. After this I start going every week!
I finally have a few days to myself before Chris gets home. I have a list of some meals I am going to make in the next couple weeks and freeze for after Jackson is here. I made lasagna last night. I am also going to make a couple meat loafs, tater tot casserole, taco meat, quesadillas, banana bread, pumpkin bread and who knows what else. Any good ideas? Also, I decided this morning I need to clean out the freezer in the garage to make room for all this food so I will probably do that this weekend. I also need to wash, at least, the 0-3 mo. baby clothes. So that is what I will be doing the next couple weeks to keep my busy.
I kind of put a hold on daycare interviewing since I found out I can work part-time until March. I did talk to 2 that both seemed good, so I will keep them in mind. Need to pack a hospitbal bag in a couple weeks probably too. The only other thing I really to get done early September is take Marley to his dr. for his yearly checkup and shots. I already got my tags and taxes taken care of online yesterday!
I'll let you know what the dr. says Thursday!

Whew! And after all of that maybe you will have time for a nap!
Making meals is probably the best thing you can possibly do to prepare! I didn't do it before I had our first, and I was NOT expecting a c-section. I did freeze meals in advance for our second one, and it helped out tremendously to just pop something into the oven. Sounds like you made some great stuff!
