Time has been flying and things have been busy. I have a busy, busy weekend planned. In fact, I've already started my list of things I want to accomplish. First on my list is painting the kitchen. I started that this morning and hope to get a couple of walls done tonight. Next, our city is having a spring clean-up and our area starts next Monday for pick-up. I got a few things out to the curb this morning as well. Probably won't take much else out there. But, going through the garage this morning made me annoyed that now I have to reorganize some of it, 3rd to do item. Not all of it, just make it a little more, well, organzied and make room for either a plastic shelf (to take the place of the crappy, partical board one we have) and/or recycling bins. Which brings me to 4th item: get recycling bins. I took a huge bag of newspaper to our local recycling center this morning and realized I should be doing this. Also, realized today is Earth Day so it kind of seemed like a sign. So, in order to do this I need to get some trashcans and clear some room for them in either the garage or utility room. That should be fun...finding MORE ROOM in our house for MORE things. Maybe I need to find more stuff to put out to the curb, lol!
Next weekend, I am going to attempt something new! I am going to tile the backsplash! I am really excited, I've always wanted to try tiling and this seems like a great, little project for my first attempt. It looks easy enough...on a small scale. LOL. My mom will be back down next weekend so that should give me plenty of time to work on it.
I'm sure I'll think of more things, but for now that is it.
