This weekend Jackson, Aunt Pat, and I will be heading to KC to see Chris' mom and Bert. I think its going to be a good weekend. Linda has made an apt. for us to get pedicure's on Saturday!! Pat is going to watch Jackson so I can have some me time. Then, after that Jackson and I are hoping to meet up with Hillary and Gretchen! Hopefully I will also have some time to go to Babies R Us and use my, I mean Jackson's, gift cards from Christmas!
I've already been buying him some summer clothes and pj's! I can't wait for it to warm up so he can wear them, he will be so cute! He has a few cold weather clothes that are 6-9 mo. b/c I knew he'd be in that size before it got really warm. Today I tried one of the outfits on him that was too big about a month ago and today it basically fits! Wow! This boy is growing so fast. I don't remember if I posted after his 4 mo. apt. but he is almost 16 lbs now and about 25 inches long! The Dr. also said we could start solids now so I have been giving him a little bit of rice cereal with a spoon once a day so he learns how to eat. Its been going ok. It depends on his mood alot if he is interested in it. I also made and froze some pureed apples, pears and carrots, but I will wait a little longer to give those to him.
Chris is doing good. He is pretty much done training and just waiting now to leave. All I can say is, its getting close. :( So keep him and his unit in your thoughts that they get there safely and have a good year. If you want his address to send him anything this year I have it, just let me know.
